The UNICEF Phishing Campaign

If you are a social media user you must have come across the UNICEF Phishing campaign which exorted a lot of money from social media users. Accounts were hacked and hackers pretended to be the account owners. Targeted victims were mostly reputable members of society such as CEOs, Engineers, social media influencers etc who the society believed to spread only genuine information. Precaution should still be taken by social media users because the phishing attack is still on going. Some of the hackers identified reside in Nairobi Kenya. They have a habit of hacking many accounts and using the same hacked accounts to comment to malicious social media posts

World Vision phishing campaign

This campaign has not been launched once or twice. It is a repeated phishing attack and the scammers normally list jobs with highly attractive salaries to lure the victims into sending an email to a particular email address as a form of application for jobs. They customise the advert to make it look like it is from World Vision and yet it is not. Usually when the jobs are applied for, the scammers ask for money for registration of printing
